A STREETWISE duck and her ducklings have been making themselves right at home in Whitby after first making an appearance in the town around a month ago.
The family of ducks, who have made their home in Church Street car park, have been spotted waddling around the Bridge Street area and are thought to have moved in after initially taking a trip down the River Esk.

They have even popped along to the Dolphin pub and Anderson’s newsagents in Bridge Street.

The plucky mother and her ducklings regularly visit Whitby’s tourist hotspots such as Sandgate and Grape Lane, and are proving to be quite an attraction themselves.
