A tourist attraction in Bath has emerged gleaming after months of cleaning and stabilisation work to the stonework and statues that surround it.
The work in the Roman Baths involved poulticing and steam and laser cleaning techniques and was undertaken by specialist stone conservators.
The statues represent Roman emperors and generals who defeated Boudicea.
The work is part of a four-year development plan which will see the Roman Baths transformed.
A spokeswoman for Bath and North East Somerset Council (Banes) said the plan had two aims, to improve accessibility and maintain the baths' position as a top visitor attraction.
