POLICE investigating the death of a Qatari at a Manama hotel on Sunday morning have ruled out foul play.

The man's body was found by staff at the Exhibition Hotel who wondered why he hadn't left his room in two days, a Public Prosecution spokesman said yesterday.

"Apparently the man had died of heart failure and no evidence of foul play was found at the scene," he added.

The man was reportedly planning to leave Bahrain next week after the Islamic New Year.
